General Swine SHOW EXHIBITOR Information

Backtags: Backtags will be available for pickup from the Swine Superintendent Office located in Mustang Arena.

Swine Superintendent Office: The Swine Superintendent Office is located on the east side of Mustang Arena.

Pens: Pens should be kept clean and tidy at all times. Pens are 5' x 10'.

Tents & Tack: Please be respectful of your fellow exhibitors during the move in and move out process. No tents or tack will be permitted on the outside of the Explorer Barn to prevent issues with load in and load out.

Swine Show Exercising: Exercising gilts and barrows is permitted only in the arena located in the Explorer Barn.

Trailer Parking : Trailer parking will be located at 800 N 89th East Ave. The trailer parking lot is NOT an all-weather terrain. Please plan accordingly and bring a block for your trailer. Click here to view the map.

Gilt show EXHIBITORS

Check In: All gilts must check in online. The QR Code on your back tag(s) will take you directly to the link to check in. YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK UP YOUR BACKTAG FROM THE SWINE SUPERINTEDENT OFFICE LOCATED IN MUSTANG ARENA PRIOR TO CHECK-IN. Crossbred gilts must be checked in by 6pm on Friday, October 2. Purebreds must be checked in by 4pm on Saturday, October 3. Animals will not be allowed to check in after the specified check in time.

Release: Exhibitors must obtain a written release before retrieving trailer or leaving the property with animals. Visit the Swine show office to obtain your trailer and animal release. All breeding gilts, with the exception of those selected for the gilt sale, must be out by Sunday, October 4 by 7pm.

Showmanship: You must check-in for showmanship before 2pm on Friday, October 2 at the Swine Superintendent Office located on the east side of Mustang Arena. You will be provided a t-shirt that must be worn during the showmanship competition. Showmanship will take place on Friday, October 2 at 4pm in Mustang Arena.

Gilt Sale: The Gilt Sale will take place on Tuesday, October 6th at 6pm in Mustang Arena.

Market Barrow show EXHIBITORS

Check In: All barrows must check in online. The QR Code on your back tag(s) will take you directly to the link to check in. YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK UP YOUR BACKTAG FROM THE SWINE SUPERINTEDENT OFFICE LOCATED IN MUSTANG ARENA PRIOR TO CHECK-IN. Animals will not be allowed to check in after the specified check in time.

Release: Exhibitors must obtain a written release before retrieving trailer or leaving the property with animals. Visit the Swine Superintendent Office to obtain your trailer and animal release. All market barrows must by out of the barn on Wednesday, October 7th by 8pm.

Showmanship: You must check-in for showmanship before 7pm on Monday, October 5th at the Swine Superintendent Office located on the east side of Mustang Arena. You will be provided a t-shirt that must be worn during the showmanship competition. Showmanship will take place on Tuesday, October 6th at 10am in Mustang Arena.
