General Swine SHOW EXHIBITOR Information

Swine Superintendent Office: The Swine Superintendent Office is located on the east side of Mustang Arena.

Pens: Pens should be kept clean and tidy at all times. Pens are 5' x 10'.

Tents & Tack: Please be respectful of your fellow exhibitors during the move in and move out process. No tents or tack will be permitted on the outside of the Explorer Barn to prevent issues with load in and load out.


Swine Show Exercising:
Exercising gilts and barrows is permitted only in the arena located in the Explorer Barn.


Gilt show EXHIBITORS

Check In: All gilts must check in online. The QR Code on your back tag(s) will take you directly to the link to check in. YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK UP YOUR BACKTAG FROM THE CREDENTIAL STATION PRIOR TO CHECK-IN. Purebreds must be checked in by 6pm on Friday, September 29th. Crossbred gilts must be checked in by 4pm on Saturday, September 30. Animals will not be allowed to check in after the specified check in time.

Release: Exhibitors must obtain a written release before retrieving trailer or leaving the property with animals. Visit the Swine show office to obtain your trailer and animal release. All breeding gilts, with the exception of those selected for the gilt sale, must be out by Sunday, October 1st by 7pm.


Showmanship: You must check-in for showmanship before 2pm on Friday, September 29 at the Swine Superintendent office located on the east side of Mustang Arena. You will be provided a t-shirt that must be worn during the showmanship competition.


Market Barrow show EXHIBITORS

Check In: All barrows must check in online. The QR Code on your back tag(s) will take you directly to the link to check in. YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK UP YOUR BACKTAG FROM THE CREDENTIAL STATION PRIOR TO CHECK-IN. All market barrows must check in by 8pm on Monday, October 2nd online. Animals will not be allowed to check in after the specified check in time.

Release: Exhibitors must obtain a written release before retrieving trailer or leaving the property with animals. Visit the Swine show office to obtain your trailer and animal release. All market barrows must by out of the barn on Wednesday, October 4th by 8pm.

Showmanship: You must check-in for showmanship before 12pm on Monday, October 2nd at the Swine Superintendent office located on the east side of Mustang Arena. You will be provided a t-shirt that must be worn during the showmanship competition.
