Position Summary:

Ticket Scanners are responsible for scanning admission tickets and event passes for guests of the Tulsa State Fair at event entrances. This position involves direct interaction with the public and requires strong customer service and communication skills. Ticket Scanners help ensure a smooth and friendly guest experience and welcome guests to the event.

Primary Duties & Objectives:

• Scan tickets and event passes for Entrance Gates, Oklahoma Stage VIP, Disney On Ice, Livestock Credentialed entrances
• Provide general information about fair events, ticket options, schedules, and venue locations
• Assist guests and resolve inquiries in a professional, friendly manner
• Maintain a friendly, clean and safe working environment for guests and co-workers
• Accurately scan applicable tickets and passes for Tulsa State Fair and related events
• Distribute guest pamphlets to patrons as they arrive to the venue
• Follow all operational policies and procedures
• May perform other duties as assigned

Abilities & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid Driver’s License if assigned to drive a golf cart
• Proficient with handheld scanner to scan tickets and passes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high guest volume
• Must wear uniform provided

Supervision:

• Reports to Ticket Scanner Management
