GENERAL SHEEP EXHIBITOR INFORMATION


Sheep Superintendent Office: Located on the south end of the Ranger Arena.

Pens: Pens should be kept clean and tidy at all times. Pens are 10' x 10' horse stalls. Exhibitors will be responsible for bringing their own dividers if needed. No curtains or enclosures permitted on the front, sides, or top of stalls.

Trailer Parking (New Location for 2024): Trailer parking will be located at 800 N 89th East Ave. The trailer parking lot is NOT an all-weather terrain. Please plan accordingly and bring a block for your trailer. Click here to view the map.


Drenching & Muzzles:
Drenching will be allowed with drench guns in the stalls only. Soft muzzles are permitted in the stalls only. Soft muzzles must be removed from lamb any time they are taken from their stall for any reason. Failure to drench and use soft muzzles in the stall only will constitute disqualification.



Open & Junior Breeding Sheep EXHIBITOR INFORMATION


Open Sheep Arrival: May begin arriving on Thursday, September 26 at 6am. Must be in place by place by 6pm.

Stalling (New for 2024): Open & Junior sheep stalls will be preassigned. Stall charts are available here. There will be NO open penning.

Junior Purebred & Commercial Ewes: May begin Arriving on Thursday, September 26 at 6am. Must be in Place on Friday, September 27 by 6pm.

Open Breeding Sheep Check In: The superintendents will be checking registration papers at the Sheep Show Office on Thursday, September 26 from 3pm - 6pm.

Junior Purebred Breeding Ewes: Registration papers must be checked at the Sheep Show Office by 6pm on Friday, September 27.

Commercial Ewes: Weights for commercial ewes must be turned in by 8am Saturday, September 28 online. The QR Code on your back tag(s) will take you directly to the link to check in. YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK UP YOUR BACKTAG FROM THE CREDENTIAL STATION PRIOR TO CHECK-IN. Please review the division rules to see when your animals must arrive and check in end times. Animals will not be allowed to check in after the specified check in times.


Junior Breeding Ewe Showmanship: You must check-in for showmanship before 4pm on Friday, September 27 at the Sheep Superintendent office located on the south side of Bronco Barn. You will be provided a t-shirt that must be worn during the showmanship competition.

Release: Exhibitors must obtain a written release before retrieving trailer or leaving the property with animals. Visit the Sheep Show office to obtain your trailer and animal release. All breeding sheep must by out of the barn on Saturday, September 28 by 8pm.

Junior Market Lamb EXHIBITOR INFORMATION


Market Lamb Arrival: Market Lambs may begin arriving on Monday, September 30 at 6am and must be in place by 7pm.

Check In:
Weights for market lambs must be turned in by 4pm on Monday, September 30 online. The QR Code on your back tag(s) will take you directly to the link to check in. YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK UP YOUR BACKTAG FROM THE CREDENTIAL STATION PRIOR TO CHECK-IN.

Classification:
Classification will take place starting at 6pm, Monday September 30 in the following order: Hair, Southdown, Dorset, Shropshire, Natural, Black Face Cross, Suffolk, Hampshire, White Face Cross in the Ranger Arena.

Showmanship: You must check-in for showmanship before 12pm on Monday, September 30 at the Goat Superintendent office located on the south side of Bronco Barn. You will be provided a t-shirt that must be worn during the showmanship competition.

Release:
Exhibitors must obtain a written release before retrieving trailer or leaving the property with animals. Visit the Sheep Show office to obtain your trailer and animal release. All market lambs must by out of the barn on Wednesday, October 2 by 8pm.
